KRC Fireball Wavetables: 2000+ Wavetables for 1010music's Fireball and Bento Synths
A collection of more than 2000 .wav format wavetables for the 1010Music nanobox Fireball wavetable synthesizer, hand-selected from my KRC Mathwaves wavetable collection. Supercharge your nanobox Fireball (or 1010 Bento, which includes the Fireball wavetable synth engine) with new and unusual sounds!
This "Mathwaves Lite" collection contains some of my favorite Mathwaves wavetable types selected from some of my more recent explorations of wavetable creation techniques. Timbres range from the pure, bell-like beauty of the polygonal series waveforms, to the crunch and chaos of the "Microwaved" (bit-crushed and data-reduced) wavetables, an extensive collection of "synthy" wavetables, and my special blend of variations on the classic synthesis waveforms.
Wavetable Format
The KRC Fireball wavetables are provided in 2048 sample-per-frame, 32-bit .wav files, ideal for loading to your Fireball/Bento SD card. You get 2156 wavetables that take up about 3.2 Gigabytes of space. They're provided in a single 2.2 Gb Zip file.
Simply download, unzip, and transfer the folders to your Fireball's micro SD card. Once loaded, you can browse them by category and use them in your Fireball patches.
Use with Other Wavetable Synths
This wavetable format is also compatible with many other popular wavetable synthesizers including Serum, Vital, Arturia Pigments, Dawesome Kontrast, and many others.
For other formats, such as Korg modwave/multipoly, Phase Plant, Bitwig, Surge XT, and Eurorack, see my complete KRC Mathwaves collection, which contains all of these wavetables (and more than 100,000 more!), provided in all of the popular wavetable formats.
Included Wavetable Categories
The KRC Fireball collection includes wavetables from a variety of categories, ideal for exploration in Fireball. Wavetables are organized by categories and found in their own folders:
- KRC Bezier: Morphing wavetables based on a Bezier curve technique, inspired by the unusual approaches
- KRC Choir: Wavetables created from vintage vocal ROMpler sounds, using the techniques from KRC Orchestral Impressions.
- KRC Explore 4 Microwaved: Wavetables from the very first KRC Mathwaves collection, bit-reduced to mimic the sound of classic Waldorf wavetable synths.
- KRC Math Vol 4: My entire collection of variations on the classic synthesis waveforms with unusual sawtooth, square, PWM, and triangle wavetables.
- KRC Microwaved Misc: Classic wavetables from the original KRC Mathwaves collection, given the "Microwave" treatment.
- KRC MSeries 0, 1, and 2: Mathematical series wavetables that explore the morphs between unusual mathematical series and the basic synthesis waveforms.
- KRC PD Series: Wavetables created with my own phase-distortion algorithm. Some wild and woolly waveforms in here that I don't think appear in KRC Mathwaves!
- KRC Polygon Redux: My entire collection of wavetables based on the polygonal series waveforms. These wavetables have a supernaturally bell-like quality that's a hallmark of much of my work.
- KRC Split: Morphing wavetables created using a time-domain waveform splitting technique that results in oscillator sync-like effects.
- KRC Synth: Wavetables that contain waveforms perfect for classic subtractive synthesis techniques, as well as timbrally-sorted wavetables packed with surprising and weird waveforms from the millions of single-cycle waveforms I've computed over the years.
Turn up the heat of your Fireball with the KRC Fireball wavetables collection! 🔥
